Fincai — Agentic AI Trading Assistant for Stocks & Options
Fincai is an agentic AI trading assistant. It analyzes stocks and options in real time with a multi-agent AI system, runs autonomous trading strategies with built-in risk controls, and executes manual equity trades through a connected brokerage — Robinhood, via its official Trading API — on your confirmation.
The multi-agent analysis system pairs specialized technical, sentiment, and fundamental agents with a structured bull/bear debate and market-regime detection. It reads live quotes and historical price bars and can compute classic technical signals — pivot points, Fibonacci retracements, Average True Range, and Bollinger Bands — so you see both sides of a setup before you act. The conversational chat streams its reasoning in a ReAct format and offers a Trade/Plan Mode toggle that controls whether the assistant can execute orders or only propose them.
For options, a broker-independent pricing engine computes a full set of Greeks (delta, gamma, theta, vega, rho), break-evens, and payoff scenarios using Generalized Black-Scholes and the Bjerksund-Stensland (2002) approximation for American-style contracts, an implied-volatility solver, and an SVI-smoothed volatility surface. The autonomous strategy runner applies your entry, stop-loss, profit-target, trailing-stop, and time-stop rules to live quotes; it defaults to paper (simulated) trading, with live trading an explicit per-strategy opt-in that is long-only in the current version, guarded by position and notional caps, a market-hours check, and a kill switch.
You are solely responsible for the orders placed and the positions held in your account. Manual trades require your explicit confirmation before they are sent. If you arm a strategy in live mode, you authorize it to place and close orders automatically within the limits you set, without a separate confirmation for each order — you can pause or stop it at any time.

How this differs from asking ChatGPT or Claude to trade: a general-purpose chat can explain a market question, but it does not by itself provide Fincai's specialist analysis workflow, options calculations, strategy state machine, risk limits, or confirmation-first order preview. Fincai is a product with explicit controls, not a claim that a language model cannot be useful on its own.
How Fincai keeps you in control: paper trading is the default, manual trades require your explicit confirmation, brokerage access uses OAuth instead of password sharing, and live autonomous runs require a separate opt-in. Position and notional caps, market-hours checks, durable run states, and a kill switch reduce exposure without eliminating risk.
