Under the hood, the analysis runs on real-time market data from Alpaca (with Alpha Vantage as a quote fallback) and streams the assistant's reasoning in a ReAct format. The multi-agent system uses specialized agents — technical, sentiment, and fundamental — whose views are framed against each other in a structured bull/bear debate, with market-regime detection to characterize the current environment. An intent-first message router classifies each request before processing and uses a symbol blacklist to avoid false-positive ticker matches.
The analysis engine is provider-routable: by default it uses the built-in Claude model, but you can connect your own OpenAI or Google Gemini key and run the analysis on the model you choose, with an automatic fallback to the built-in model and clear provenance labeling.
