Privacy Policy
This policy describes the data Fincai collects — account and identity data, brokerage data received via API, chat and prompt content, usage telemetry, and device and log data — and how it is used.
When you use Fincai's AI chat or analysis features, the content of your prompts — including any stock symbols, watchlists, or position details you reference or ask about — is sent to a third-party AI model provider to generate a response. By default this provider is Anthropic (Claude). If you connect your own OpenAI or Google Gemini API key, analysis requests are sent to that provider instead. Fincai does not control whether these providers retain or use that content to train their models; review each provider's terms. (The precise data categories per provider and their retention practices are under review and will be enumerated here.)
Your trading data stays scoped to you. Strategies, watchlists, psychology entries, conversations, and related records are stored in Fincai's database and isolated per user; the strategy templates catalog is plain shared data with no per-user scoping. Fincai's connection to Robinhood is an OAuth authorization for the Trading API only — order entry and reading positions — and never includes banking or transfer credentials, so Fincai cannot move money in or out of your account.
Fincai also keeps a market-data audit log that records each market-data API access event — the symbol, endpoint, provider, cache result, status, latency, and any error — to operate and troubleshoot the data pipeline. OAuth tokens and registered client information for the Robinhood connection are stored encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM and are deleted when you disconnect. You can revoke Fincai's access to your brokerage at any time from your Robinhood account settings.
Fincai cannot deposit, withdraw, or transfer funds or securities out of your brokerage account. Fincai's access is limited to the permissions you grant during authorization, and you can revoke it at any time from your Robinhood account settings.

Fincai connects to your Robinhood account through Robinhood's official Trading API, only with your explicit authorization, and only for as long as you keep that authorization active.
