Fincai ships a curated library of runnable trading strategy templates, each with clear entry, stop-loss, profit-target, trailing-stop, and time-stop rules. Templates include a momentum breakout rider, an AI-consensus convergence play, a fair-value edge strategy, mean-reversion, and a set of institutional quant playbooks adapted for stocks and options.
Every template shows its provenance and risk badges. Long-biased templates can be armed live by the autonomous strategy runner; short and volatility templates run in paper mode in the current version and are labeled as such. The catalog is read-only shared data available to everyone with no account required. The momentum breakout rider uses a drift entry with trailing, hard, and time stops; the AI-consensus convergence play gates entries on the multi-agent debate and trend convergence; the fair-value edge strategy compares the pricing engine's fair value to the market and sizes with fractional Kelly; and mean-reversion fades extremes. The institutional playbooks are adapted from trading-desk methodologies — time-series (CTA) momentum, cross-sectional factor momentum, statistical-arbitrage mean-reversion, a volatility risk premium iron condor, and risk-parity core.
Because live autonomous trading is long-only in the current version, short and volatility structures — including the iron condor — are paper-only and labeled accordingly. Selecting Use This Template opens the strategy builder with the template's type, risk profile, stop, target, time, and trailing rules and symbol prefilled, so you can review and adjust everything before you arm it in paper or live mode.
Automated and agentic strategies can act faster than you can review them. Software fails, market data can be delayed or wrong, and connectivity can be interrupted. Risk controls reduce but do not eliminate the possibility of loss. You remain responsible for every position in your account.
