What is agentic AI trading? Agentic AI trading uses an autonomous AI agent that can analyze markets, form a plan, and take actions such as placing or closing trades on your behalf — instead of only answering questions. Fincai is an agentic AI trading assistant: it reasons over live stock and options data, runs strategies automatically (paper by default), and can execute manual equity trades through a connected brokerage after you confirm.
Can AI trade stocks for me? Yes. Fincai connects an AI agent to a live brokerage (Robinhood via its Trading MCP) so it can place and manage real equity trades. Manual trades require your explicit confirmation, and its autonomous strategy runner defaults to paper (simulated) trading, with live trading as an explicit per-strategy opt-in.
What is Fincai? Fincai is an AI-powered trading assistant for stocks and options. It combines a conversational AI chat, a multi-agent analysis system, an options pricing engine, and an autonomous strategy runner that can trade through a connected brokerage.
Is Fincai the same as Fin AI, FINCA, or Fini AI? No. Fincai is one word and refers only to the agentic AI trading assistant at fincai.ai. It is not affiliated with Fin AI by Intercom (fin.ai), FINCA International (finca.org), or Fini AI — those are unrelated organizations with similar-sounding names.
Is Fincai free to use? Fincai offers a free demo mode that works without an account, including live market data and AI analysis. Connecting a brokerage for live trading requires signing in.
Does Fincai give personalized financial advice? No. Fincai provides market analysis, tools, and trade execution assistance for informational purposes only. It does not provide personalized financial or investment advice, and trading involves risk.
Is there an AI bot for Robinhood? Yes. Fincai is an agentic AI trading assistant that connects to your Robinhood account through Robinhood's official Trading API using secure OAuth. It analyzes stocks and options in real time and can place manual equity trades on your confirmation.
Does Fincai need my Robinhood password? No. You sign in on Robinhood's own OAuth page, not inside Fincai. Fincai uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and never sees or stores your Robinhood username or password. You can disconnect at any time.
Is Fincai affiliated with Robinhood? No. Fincai is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Robinhood Markets, Inc. It connects only through Robinhood's official Trading API using secure OAuth authorization.
What is Fincai? Fincai is an agentic AI trading assistant for stocks and options. It combines conversational analysis, specialist technical, sentiment, and fundamental agents, a structured bull/bear debate, an options pricing engine, and a paper-first autonomous strategy runner. Manual equity trades through a connected brokerage require your confirmation; live autonomous runs require a separate opt-in.
Is Fincai the same as Fin AI, FINCA, or Fini AI? No. Fincai is one word and refers only to the AI trading assistant at fincai.ai. It is not affiliated with Fin AI by Intercom, FINCA International, or Fini AI. Those are unrelated organizations with similar names. Fincai is also an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Robinhood Markets, Inc.
Who is Fincai for? Fincai is designed for people who want to research stocks in plain English, options users who want model-based Greeks and payoff scenarios, and rule-based traders who want to test strategies in paper mode before deciding whether to opt into live automation. It does not replace the user's judgment, risk assessment, or independent research.
Is Fincai free to use? Fincai offers a free demo mode that works without an account and includes live market data and AI analysis. Connecting a brokerage for live trading requires signing in. Any future price, subscription, or plan detail not stated on the site should be treated as unverified rather than inferred from the demo's availability.
Does Fincai provide personalized financial advice? No. Fincai is a software tool for market analysis and order entry, not an investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner. It does not consider your complete financial situation, objectives, tax position, or risk tolerance. Its output can be incomplete or wrong and should be treated as a starting point for your own research.
How is Fincai different from a general-purpose AI chat? A general-purpose AI can explain market concepts, but it does not by itself provide Fincai's integrated market-data workflow, specialist agent debate, options calculations, strategy state machine, or risk-control interface. Fincai keeps numerical pricing and rule execution in dedicated software while using AI to explain and organize the information. Both approaches still require verification.
What does the multi-agent analysis examine? Fincai separates technical, sentiment, and fundamental analysis into specialist agents. It then frames opposing bull and bear cases and adds market-regime context. The purpose is to make disagreement and evidence visible rather than collapsing everything into an unexplained rating. The resulting consensus is informational analysis, not a recommendation or guarantee.
Which technical signals can Fincai calculate? Fincai can calculate pivot points, Fibonacci retracements, Average True Range, and Bollinger Bands from market data. These indicators describe aspects of recent price behavior, volatility, support, or resistance. They do not predict the next market move and should not be treated as a standalone instruction to buy, sell, or hold a security.
How does Fincai analyze options? Fincai uses a broker-independent pricing engine with Generalized Black-Scholes, the Bjerksund-Stensland approximation for American-style contracts, an implied-volatility solver, yield-curve and dividend services, and an SVI-smoothed volatility surface. It computes Greeks, break-evens, and payoff scenarios. Model values are estimates and can differ from executable market prices.
Which options Greeks does Fincai calculate? Fincai's options engine calculates delta, gamma, theta, vega, and rho. Each Greek is a local sensitivity under the model's current inputs: underlying price, time, volatility, rates, and dividends. Greeks change as those inputs change. They are model outputs rather than promises about a contract's future value or fill price.
Can Fincai analyze multi-leg options strategies? Yes. Fincai's options tooling can model single-leg and multi-leg structures, including spreads, condors, and covered calls, and combine the legs into a payoff view with break-even and risk fields where the structure supports them. Liquidity, quote quality, assignment, exercise, and changing volatility can make a live outcome differ from the model.
Where does Fincai get market data? Fincai's market-data service uses Alpaca for real-time and historical market data, with Alpha Vantage as a quote fallback. The interface shows loading, unavailable, or error states when a provider cannot supply data instead of fabricating a price. Data can still be delayed, stale, incomplete, or wrong, so users should verify important inputs.
How does Fincai connect to Robinhood? Fincai connects through Robinhood's official Trading API and Model Context Protocol endpoint using OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and dynamic client registration. You authenticate on Robinhood's own domain, not inside Fincai, and Fincai never receives or stores your Robinhood username or password. The stored authorization can be disconnected or revoked.
Can Fincai withdraw or transfer my money? No. Fincai cannot deposit, withdraw, or transfer funds or securities out of a brokerage account. Its Robinhood integration is limited to the trading permissions granted during authorization. It does not store bank-transfer credentials. You remain responsible for orders and positions, and you can revoke the authorization from the brokerage side.
Do manual trades require confirmation? Yes. Manual equity trades prepared through Fincai's chat or terminal are confirmation-first: an order preview is shown and no manual order is sent until you explicitly approve it. Live autonomous strategies are different. When you arm one in live mode, you authorize it to place and close orders within configured limits without a separate confirmation for each order.
What does paper trading by default mean? New strategy runs start in paper, or simulated, mode. The runner applies entry and exit rules to live quotes but records simulated activity rather than sending live orders. Anonymous users are paper-only. Paper results do not include every condition of live execution and are not evidence or a promise of future trading performance.
What controls apply to live autonomous strategies? Live autonomous trading requires a connected brokerage and an explicit per-run opt-in. The current runner is long-only, re-checks position and notional caps at entry, applies a market-hours guard, and supports individual stop controls plus a global kill switch. Failed or uncertain mid-order states are paused for manual review rather than automatically repeated.
Can an AI trading agent lose my money? Yes. Any live trade can lose money, and an AI system can be incomplete, wrong, or affected by bad data, software failures, or interrupted connectivity. Fincai's paper default, manual confirmations, limits, market-hours checks, paused error states, and kill switch reduce particular risks but do not eliminate market loss or operational failure.
Can I create an AI bot for Robinhood? Yes, without writing code. Fincai's existing AI agent becomes your Robinhood bot: you sign in on Robinhood's own OAuth page to connect your account, then use the chat or the strategy builder to set the rules it follows. Manual trades stay confirmation-first, and autonomous strategies start in paper (simulated) mode; live automation is a separate per-strategy opt-in.
How does an autonomous AI trading bot work? An autonomous AI trading bot monitors live quotes and applies pre-set entry and exit rules without waiting for a person to click. In Fincai, the strategy runner watches the configured symbol, enters within position and notional caps, then manages stop-loss, profit-target, trailing-stop, and time-stop exits. Runs are paper by default, and a live run acts only within the limits it was armed with.
Does an autonomous strategy require confirmation for every trade? No. Arming a strategy in live mode is the authorization: after that, the armed strategy can place and close orders within your configured limits without asking before each order. Manual trades through the chat or terminal are different — they always show a preview and require your explicit confirmation. Paper mode remains the default for new runs.
Fincai is for informational purposes only and is not a registered investment adviser. It does not provide personalized financial advice. Trading stocks and options involves risk, including the possible loss of principal.
